| Well things have been rather crazy around here! Larry, Delilah, Emma & Isaiah came up from Ind. for the wkend. Just left this morn. Denver & Brittney came home also from River Falls. Monicas fiance was also here. So the whole Burnell Martin family was under the same roof again! Had alot of fun going fishing, picnics, sittin around campfires & shopping! I'm definitely feeling the old age setting in! My poor husband had to work most of the time they were here. He was rather bummed. Ashton caught his first carp yest. Wow the look on his face was priceless. I forgot my camera but Uncle Denver got some on his phone so am hoping he can email em to me so I can post em. It was almost as long as Ashton! We all got beautiful glorious sun. I forgot sunscreen & poor lil Jos has red arms :( I'm not a very good mother. Went to a hickville tractor pull last night. Was nothin like Elkhart county tractor pulls that's for sure. So after a long exhausting wk.end I'm hopin maybe to stay home today. Everyone else is in EauClaire beeboppin around. Would kinda like to go meet hubby for a picnic. Afterall it is Memorial day & he has to work:( Well I gotta go tie up the dog before she ripps down any more fences & the bulls get out! | I am so happy! God is answering prayers & opening doors for us! With the economy so bad we had no more work in the construction field so finances have been very stressful. We've been searching & searching for work somewhere else. So last night Ty went to meet with a custom farmer & is hired!! Starts in 2 wks. He'll be a planter & chopper operator. The only sad thing is that I'll be lonely alot this summer as his hrs. will be very long. Most nights will be 9 or 10 till he'll come home. But on the plus side me & the kids can go with him if we ever feel too lonely!! Ashton is already pumped about riding in a big tractor! We also lookes at a house a mile down the road from the job. It's a tiny 2 bedroom one level house but rent is very cheap which is what we need right now. Not sure yet though if that's the house we'll move into or not. So if anyone is feeling energetic & wants to be put to work I have plenty of packing to do! Hopefully in about 3 wks. we'll be outta there! Can't wait=) I'm so ready for a new start somewhere else. I haven't been keeping you all updated on my life. I've been having problems with my legs & arms, have headaches, feel nauseated, dizziness, can't remember things for the life of me & falling with my poor baby. Thankgoodness she hasn't gotten hurt yet. They tested me for Lymes disease & that's a negative. I had a brain & spine M.R.I done yesterday but won't know those results till the 31st. They're testing for M.S. so please pray it's not that. 2 of my aunts have it on my moms side & I'm starting to get just a little nervous as I've been having alot of the same symptoms as them. God can work big miracles so whatever it is maybe it's just a phase in my life. Or maybe just the fact that I have 3 kids 3 & under who make me exhausted. Stress definitely does NOT help me I've noticed that BIG time. Well I'm ready to hit the hay. Hubby is playing risk with dad & Jordan, so looks like I'll have to go to bed by myself=( They played the other night till 1a.m. Ty is still the champion. No one can beat him! Gives him a big head LOL ok I'm really going now! Peace out=) | | |
| DATE NIGHT!!!!! My wonderful husband took me out for Valentine's this wk.end! I know it was a wk late but couldn't last wk. Hey late is better than never! So we left all 3 kids with Grandpa Martin's & headed off into the sunset! BTW I have lost all my weight & actually am below my wedding weight! I'm now a 9-10 when a year ago I was an 18-20! Must give myself a pat on the back!!! On our wedding day I was a 12-14!! So yes I'm a completely brand spanking new woman on more levels than that!! I was able to go & buy a bunch more clothes last wk.! So back to the date! I surprised Ty with some you know what! If ya can't figure that ya got problems, LOL. We checked into the Ramada Inn (got it for $39) Was very classy! Got showered & headed for some awesome food at Grizzley's. Wow it was GOOD food! Ty had a 1 lb. burger that was the best I've ever had. Was done over a wood fired grilll! I had a grazer's platter that came with Chicken quesedilla's, Wis. cheese curds, wings, garlic bread & onion rings! Was awesome. Trust me over half was left. Went to the mall a bit, got our wedding bands cleaned then headed for Target. I had a little left on a gift card & Joslyn needed diapers. Got a free dessert at Famous Dave's that we got to go & ate that once our tummy's were settled a little. Went back to the hotel & just relaxed! Slept all night till bout 9:30! Wow that don't happen very often! Left the hotel around 11:30 & drove till 12:30 to get some breakfast at a family restaurant! Ty had a skillet with toast & I had an omelette with hashbrowns & pancakes. (Our kids get to eat all my leftovers) I have to say it was the most romantic date ever! My husband is the bestest ever! We both feel like such newlymarrieds!!!!! It's great! Well we need to go home. Have an hrs. drive & the kids are exhausted. Take care everyone!

| Well I guess it's high time for an update. Not much of anything new is happening in my neck of the woods=( Ashton isn't walking due to a sprained ankle. He's been so sweet about it. Always asking me to carry him please & crawls around on his hands & knees. He's really turning into a little man. Loves to help me with dishes & does an awesome job!! Kadence is turning into little miss hormones. When she's upset she will run to her room & shut the door & pout. I really dread the day when she's between the ages of 11 & 15=( Gonna need lots of patience with her! Joslyn now has 3 teeth, is crawling & pulling herself up around furniture. She's almost 10 mo. already. She has really started babbling. Is so precious! Ty is almost finished with the job he's been workin on since Nov. Was only supposed to take like 4 wks. but most of the concrete was done wrong so Ty had to jackhammer it out=( So this wk. it should finally be done. He might possibly have a job working for a guy who does custom farming & I'll be able to ride along in the tractor with him! We also found a beautiful 2 story farm house for rent with a 2 car garage. Not sure yet if it will work out. I am praying so hard that it does. It's a little farm that has a barn & pole shed so Ashton could have animals, he needs to start doing chores. I'm still staying busy being a mother! It's the best job in the world. Ashton has started saying his prayers at night & it's all about "God please be with me while I go hunting with papa" I just have to smile=) Well ya'll please just keep us in your prayers as we seek God's will & direction in our lives.
